Very very sticky but ideal for catching beetles. Dry glue traps will not stop cucumber beetles. They are too strong! We have the spotted western beetles according to Vivagrow. We had to ask them first to make sure. They said we could try these and get our money back if they did not work. Happy to say that they did work for us! Nice alternative to sprays and other hard to do DIY stuff. You can just toss these out when you are done and they are made from recycled material.
Excellent design and idea. All natural so I don't mind if it's near my food. No pesticides is the only was to go. A++ product
Good trap for cucumber beetles
Love these traps but they ned to sell a 5 pack or 10 pack for bigger orchards. We're going to try just he lures and the big sticky traps in the DIY section next time (the lures are the exact same from what we have been told, they look identical). Super cool if you just want to see how they work. Ask for a code and they just might send you a discount! : )
Good but messy
I found these from a video online and I have to say I am very impressed the performance. I do wish they had a version that works with water or something similar to that instead of the glue. They work very well as sold though.
Filled with beetles in 3-4 days. Incredible how many there were that were hiding from plain sight.
Your best bet for these bothersome beetles! We have the striped variety and I assume the Western subtype because of our location in the South West. They are MEAN bugs and will mow down your garden FAST if they aren't stopped. We are all organic and don't use pesticides, please don't use them either. We need our pollinators if we are going have food to eat in the future! We encourage YOU to do your part and help us all!
Great alternative to spraying insecticides on plants that are for eating. Extremely sticky glue like many people have posted. The only solution we know of really. It would be better if we could by them local but the closest store is not too close in TX.
