Product Description
Spongy (Gypsy) Moth larvae aggressively feed on tree and shrub foliage, stunting growth and potentially killing the host. Each larvae can consume up to one square foot of foliage per day while maturing for six to eight weeks.

VivaTrap Spongy Moth Traps feature a pheromone attractant that is specific to Spongy (Gypsy) Moths (Lymantria dispar), *BOTH* asiatica and japonica species - they will not attract other insects or pollinators to the wet glue adhesive utilized in the trap.
Includes: 2x extra-sticky wet glue traps, 2x lures and 2x twist ties (2 complete traps)
Instructions: Place lure inside diamond trap and position in shrub or hang in tree at 4-5' height, South side of foliage is preferred. Use one trap with lure per shrub or small tree, two traps for larger trees. For best results deploy traps in April when larvae emerge. Lure lasts for 8 weeks depending on temperature.

Effective and sanitary
Nice disposable solution for gypsy moths. No water trap to refill which is hard to do when the trap is up in a tree. Best solution for the money.
