Help protect your Apple, Crab Apple, Peach, Pear, Plum & other fruit trees from destructive moth larvae! Don't spray your trees if it isn't necessary
VivaTrap! Codling Moth + Oriental Fruit Moth Traps are the *ONLY* pheromone traps available for Oriental Fruit Moths, our proprietary multi-pheromone mixture is field proven!
Codling Moths and Oriental Fruit Moths attack these and other species:
Codling Moth (Cydia pomonella) larvae are typically the cause of 'wormy' fruit, doing damage by stinging the flesh and boring into the seed cavity. There are 2-4 generations per year, depending on climate.
Oriental Fruit Moth (Grapholita molesta) larvae attack both fruit and young shoots & twigs, killing the tip of the shoots and causing strikes or flagging. Larvae typically enter fruit near the stem and immediately bore to the center, feeding around the pit. There are 5-6 generations per year, depending on climate.
VivaTrap! Codling Moth & Oriental Fruit Moth Traps utilize a strong wet glue adhesive to retain moths attracted to the dual pheromone lure.
Includes: 2x extra-sticky wet glue traps & 2x lures (2 complete traps)
Instructions: Hang traps in trees at 5-6' height, with care to avoid wind and rain as possible. Use 1 trap for each smaller tree, or 2 for larger trees. Deploy traps in early April, and again in August for best results. Lure lasts for approximately 8 weeks.

So we are not exactly sure which of these moths that we have. But the trap catches them either way. The moths look very similar to each other so it is hard to say what they are.
It works perfectly, además viene con instrucciones en español! Eso pocas marcas en US lo tienen y de vez en cuando eso ayuda mucho. Ty guys
It is undoubtedly one of the best products on the market, it works excellently and without failure.
Awesome traps! They are saving our Apple Trees from wormy fruit. A++
Catches all kinds of flying moths on our apple trees. We did not know that the moths are from the grubs that eat our apples. Now the moths get caught and can't mate all season so the fruit is more likely to survive. You can't trap all the moths but these will help. You might need to have an arborist spray your trees if the moths are very bad. But with a trap you will know first.
This is the only oriental fruit moth trap available that actually does what it says it will
You will be shocked at how many moths get caught by this. We were a little bit scared of how many there were. But if they are in the traps they can't be in the apples!
It's absolutely astounding how many moths we are catching after the first day and night out. As others have mentioned we did not even know we had this much of a problem, just very bad apples every year. Well, not anymore! We are very pleased with everything we've tried from Vivatraps.
We always have Oriental Fruit Moths in our small orchard which has made the fruit almost inedible over the last couple of years. There are no other traps that we can find for the Oriental moths. Other codling moth traps do not have the pheromones for other species so read carefully! Vivagrow is good about answering questions if you email.
