VivaTrap VT-102 Citrus Leafminer Trap & Lure
Citrus Leafminers (Phyllocnistis citrella) are difficult & resilient pests affecting vegetables and ornamental plants worldwide as well as citrus trees of all types in the United States. VivaGrow citrus leafminer traps include a Phyllocnistis citrella-specific pheromone lure to naturally attract male leafminers to a sticky surface where they cannot escape, which disrupts mating and reduces population. This lure will not attract other species or beneficial insects.
Instructions: Hang traps in trees at 5-6' height, with care to avoid wind and rain as possible. Use 1 trap for each smaller tree, or 2 for larger trees.
Timing: Deploy traps in April through August for best results. Lure lasts for approximately 8 weeks.
